Do books with Leather binding exist here on PBS? if they do, how do we find them?

Thank you for helping me!

Find the book on Amazon and then scroll down just a bit to where it shows other editions.  If there is a leather bound edition listed get the ISBN and then you use that to search in PBS.

I've seen books listed as having a leather binding, but It doesn't come up when searched for the same way paperbacks or hardcovers do.  If you search All Books using the keywords "leather bound" most of what comes up is described as having a leather binding, but there are some hardcovers and paperbacks thrown in, so it's kind of hit-and-miss in that regard.  Plus, some leather editions are listed simply as "hardcover" sometimes.  I've always done it by finding a leatherbound copy elsewhere and getting the ISBN from it like Donna suggested.  It's kind of wishful thinking hoping that someone will post one, but it's worked out for me in the past:  I've a very nice leather Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy omnibus from PBS that looks like scripture it's so pretty and leathery lol.

I have had good luck looking for other specific types of obscure things by searching the editors. There are a very few specific publishers of Leather bounds for shelf collecting. Not that those are the only leather bounds, just that you might find some that way, if you search, for example, for 'Easton press', ect. Our Easton press editions do not seem to have ISBNs, btw - we are looking at them just for this question, and can't find any. I tried calling my Daddy, who sells rare and first edition books, and therefore must find ISBNs quite often, but he must have went to bed already.

You might also try asking in the Book Bazaar, see if anyone has some on their shelf they can point you to.

Cheers,
