Back of book says: Madelain Farah, techer, linguist, writer, Fulbright scholar, former model and beauty queen, was born in Portland, Oregon and reared in Lebanon. Her talent is exemplified in this unique and comprehensive cookbook which contains over 200 recipes and is the result of four years of research and testing. Lebanese Cuisine is designed for the gourmet, the vegetarian, and the healthfood enthusiast.

I say: This spiral bound book was published in 1975. Here's a sampling of recipes: Ftayir, triangle lamb pies; Yakhnit al-Batata, potato stew; Falafil, bean patties; Jiban, Arabic cheese; Zaytun Msabbah, spiced olives; Qras bil-Ajwi, date crescents.
