Jenny Fletcher begs her preacher fiance Hal to spend a night of passion with her before he leaves for a dangerous religious mission in Central America. In reality, it is his black sheep brother she makes love to. When Hal dies while in Central America, Cage sees this as his opportunity to be with the woman he has always loved, despite her parents' disapproval, particularly when Jenny gets a party favor from her night of passion with "Hal." When Jenny learns the truth about Cage's deception, will she be able to forgive him and remain with the man who instills such passion in her?

I really liked this quick-read story. I felt sorry for the 'bad' boy - circumstances made him act out as he did. He was so in love with Jenny and his heart was hurt alot by her - even when he tried to do right by her and she was a good character. Her feelings were so torn-she thought she was the good girl her fiance wanted but deep down she really wasn't and Cage was the only one who could feel that in her.

I would recommend this story - quick read, complicated story and I love Sandra Brown!

Bad boy, good girl. Bad boy in love with good girl who is in love with his good boy brother. The brother dies, and now the bad boy sees his chance to get the girl he's always carried a torch for and goes about it by showing her she's not as good as she thinks she is. A quick read, and as delightful as Sandra Brown's always are.

Definitely..LED ASTRAY is....
The sweetest love hang over no true Romantic wants to get over!
Love oooh TRUE Love... goes where it pleases Not where it is sent.
Caution! Caution!
This True Romantic imposingly felt... burns penetrate deep down to the love bone.
Every drop of this delicious READ oozed and dripped from the pages with scorching white HOT Lava fires!
Why yes indeed,Loves magic was majestically work in this short READ!

No matter what demands or allegiances Heroine(JENNY)felt to her so called fiance parents,it meant nothing cause she subconsciously Desired&loved another!!!!
For so long she was in denial and couldn't let the Real independent &Sensual JENNY come out of the closet! ;O)
JENNY didn't understand, that there is nothing to FEAR but Fear it self, but that's life and what every circumstances you're reared in perhaps, shapes your mind as individual for life!
On a whole this READ offers a lot ,that's if your mind isn't close or One track, to accept!
As in life and I found in this READ Some individuals in general have narrow minds and form opinions wrongly of others without knowing that person first hand. Then again, theirs nothing as great as FEAR of the unknown, like JENNY was afraid of her Feelings for a another even though she was Betrothed...to another!!!!
I think people and life NEVER change there's nothing New under the sun, regardless of the time ,nope it doesn't matter, traditions of old DON'T die, they live on! teeeheee!

Within this story line Ms. Brown did a magnificent job of demonstrating through her Gift of Writting how, fate & destiny as in True life took control of the direction of the story.
Excellent job! on Ms. Brown's part for showing the different characters of the sons &how the parents interaction with both Sons...hmmm..very,very interesting. It's like yep,yep I know these people!

I love the feeling when I get when the Hero is sexy, wild, and they say,"NO OOO,you shouldn't get involved with him(Cage)OOOOH my! Here goes, then comes the excitement of being bad to the Bone!!! Being naughty is fun,Cage was fun and not boring like his brother! He was lead by his on self on the road to life discoveries while learning along the way and even if he fall(he had faults to) he could brush his self off and get back up again, isn't that what life is all about?!
I can read,LED ASTRAY again&again!

Uhg, this book was not SB's best, that for sure. The hero was mean and nasty till the end and the girl was so wishy washy.

Cage Hendren was his brother Hal's opposite in every way. Hal was dedicated to a worthy cause; Cage was the black sheep of the family. Hal graciously allowed his fiancee, Jenny Fletcher, to help him with his work; Cage just loved her with all his heart. When Hal died, Jenny was carrying what she thought was his child. Now Cage had to trust that the memory of his tender passionrather than his deceptionwould be enough to show her she'd been with the wrong brother all along.

Cage Hendren had chased more than his share of women, but he loved on one--Jenny Fletcher, the quiet, serious girl who was engaged to his brother, Hal. When Hal was killed doing missionary work in Central America, Cage made his move.

Jenny found herself placing second place to her fiance's committment to his passion to help refuges. On the eve of his departure to Central America he gave her what she wanted more than anything, a passionate night. His final gift to her. His brother was the opposite of his brother. Cage was the black sheep of the family, he was rough and wild and had a soft spot for only one thing, Jenny. Now he was showing her a wildness in herself that she never knew she had, and she felt guilty. But now she knew she could never go back to the life she had left.

Jenny Fletcher had selflessly put her needs and dreams behind those of her fiance, Hal, a man more committed to a cause than to her. On the eve of his departure for Central America, he gave Jenny what she wanted more than anything...one passionate night. It was his final gift.

Cage Hendren was the opposite of his brother, Hal, in every way. The black sheep of the family, he was all rough edges, with a soft spot for just one thing: Jenny. but she'd always thought Cage was too wild and reckless..until he showed her a wildness in herself she hadn't know was there. And now that she'd been led astray...she couldn't possibly turn back.
