Of all the Dragon Lance books, and I have read quite a few of them, this is my favorite. It is a stand-alone fantasy novel or can be read as part of the series.
This book has it all! There's romance, action, betrayal, intrigue...good stuff for anyone wanting to try Dragon Lance without buying the whole set. A really great read!

Love the "Dragonlance" and "Foegotten Realms" series. They are all connected together even written by different authors.
