I didn't particularly enjoy this book as much as I have some of her others. This one went into to many details, without really explaining the plot of the story.

Catherine Lanigan is a master storyteller. The steamy jungles of the Amazon offer the perfect escape for geologist M.J. Callahan, a woman running from intimacy, love and her own haunted past. Accepting a position with Texan Oil, she embarks on a mission that will change her life. As part of the 3 personal survey team in search of oil. M.J. soons finds herself seduced by the exotic beauty of the land. The jungles green walls have a dangerous secret of their own.. of a past expedition clouded in mystery, in which there were no survivors. As they approach the heart of the jungle, truths are revealed, betrayals uncovered, and J.J. is forced to confront her own demons before history repeats itself. Good reading.
