For those of you familiar with Leisha Kelly, she was in a fatal car accident yesterday that killed her and her son.  Information seems to have been updated pretty frequently at this link.  Please keep the family in your prayers.

I agree.  She was not an author that I really followed, but no one wants to experience a loss of two family members this way....just awful.

I was just reading that from where Terri Blackstock posted on her FB page.

Prayers go out not only to the family but to the others involved in the accident.  Especially the 18 yr old driver of the vehicle that struck them.

I just read this on Beverly Lewis's Facebook page.  Praying for the Kelly family at this terrible time.

Just yesterday I chanced to discover on her web page the tragic death of this beloved author.  At only 47 she had many years of books to write, but all that was cut short.  I am devastated as I have come to love and respect this young woman's ability as a Christian fiction writer.  In fact, I just received her most recent (last?) book from another PBS member - THE HOUSE ON MALCOLM STREET.  Possibly not her last as she may have had some in the works (I hope).

Leisha Kelly (aka L.A. Kelly) also wrote the TAHN series of three books.  These books are astounding and I compare them to the well-known author C.S. Lewis in depth and value.

Even though her death was months away, I am still processing this terrible news.  I'm glad there was mention of it here on PBS.
