I am interested in the early books. Have read Fledgling, Saltation, Balance of Trade, Partners in Necessity (a 3 book omnibus containing Agent of change, conflict of Honors and Carpe Diem), and I Dare. Amazon is charging a fortune as are used book dealers. Am looking for Plan B, Dragon Variation, Changling, Local Custom, and any other Liaden books. I am a Librarian and would rank these right up there with the Miles Vorsakian novels by Bujold.

PBS has a policy that we cannot ask for books that are WL.  We can offer them, just not ask. 

Oh.  The Dragon Variation is two books published together.  Crystal Soldier and Crystal Dragon.

And Sword of Orion is not a book in the Laiden series.  (Do not recommend that one.  Not one of their best.)

ETA.  Whoops.  I was wrong.  The Dragon Variation is a reprint of three books,  Local Custom, Scott's Progress, and Conflict of Honors.
