I got this book after seeing it on a top-ten Sci-Fi of '08 list somewhere. Though I did get through most of the book, the writing style is often hard to follow and frankly kind of annoying.

Considering the troubled economy a book that takes place after and economic collapse seems prophetic. I had a bit of trouble following some of the action that took place and things seemed to jump around more than was necessary. There was some dialogue that was too slangy for my taste but maybe I was just to old and staid for the book.
