I downloaded a few books from my libraries Overdrive system onto my Nook. But when I go into the Nook and try to open the book it says that I have to enter my name and credit card number so I can unlock the book to read it. Not sure what is going on. Anyone have any ideas?

B&N requires a default cc to use the nook.

We figured it out. We (my husband and I ) were not doing one simple little step. Problem solved.
