I have a heart of gold,
For that is what I'm told.
But my heart will never shine,
Because you are no longer mine.
Maybe I'm too trusting,
And you were only lusting.
You led me to believe,
That you would never leave.
Then you said good-bye,
I felt like I had died.
Everyday I cried,
You never told me why.
All I know is that you had lied!
