We as humans can learn a lot from dogs. This book is well written and entertaining. This is a book for dog lovers and anyone who enjoys life or wants to learn how to enjoy life. Sit back and read this book, it only takes a small amount of your time, enjoy the words and pictures, and let yourself go. take some lessons for getting the most out of every day.
The other reviewer states that Trixie was "simple"...not so! I actually just ordered this book but just received "her" other book "Bliss to You" for Christmas. It's touching, insightful, inspirational, funny, and a great pick me up. If you're a Dean Koontz fan and like how he writes the dogs in his stories, you'll enjoy his Trixie books.
this book is cute, if you love dogs, specifically golden retrievers, the pictures are adorable. proceeds go to a good cause (service dogs) so it is a good thing to purchase, it is more of a picture book than anything else, the way it is written makes it seem that the dog is autistic or was dropped on her head a few times.. but i have had goldens most of my life and some were brighter than others, so perhaps Trixie was 'simple'.
