Good book but not York's best. It is the first 43 Light Street book, though, so you probably don't want to miss it.

I READ ALL BOOKS BY REBECCA YORK, ESPECIALLY HER 43 LIGHT STREET SERIES, WHICH IS GREAT AND I HAVE READ THEM FOR YEARS. THEY ARE ALL WELL WRITTEN AND THE STORIES AND CHARACTERS ARE GREAT. I WILL NOT GET INTO THE STORY AND SPOIL IT FOR EVERYONE BUT IF YOU HAVE NEVER READ A REBECCA YORK BOOK NOW IS THE TIME TO START

"There seemed to be something very odd about the Sterling Clinic... and when her former patient died in an apparent suicide, pyschologist Abby Franklin determined to find out what.

Abby locked horns with the dead woman's brother, Steve Claiborne - untamed like a panther and twice as fierce. But Steve's accusations of malpractice suddenly gave way to equally intimidating warnings that Abby had exposed only the tip of the iceberg. For her own sake, Abby had to discover the deadly nature of their adversaries - and their unholy business. But it was for Steve's sake that she risked her life - for he had become the next intended victim of a killer clinic."

Short, quick read with plenty of questions that make you keep reading.
