I have a very large collections of needlework books, including many vintage, and it's time to let go.  If someone is looking for a particular book, I may have it.  What would be the best way to handle a swap.  How do you get credits for books exchanged this way.  Any other information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi, Jo, If you want to do a straight swap without credits, that is generally against the rules unless you are a boxer. If you want to offer your books for instance, 1 free with any order from your shelf, that's ok. I would just post the books and you could always do a 2 for 1 or something like that until they are gone. Meaning they order one from your shelf, and PM you with the title of the freebie, and you remove that book from your shelf.

If the books are older and you don't want to post them manually, you can list them in a post here in the bazaar and then run a special offer (2/1, etc)...

hope that helps.

Perhaps I was not clear in first post.  I don't believe I mentioned anything about doing a swap without any  credits or anything else that is against the rules.

I have more than 500 needlework books, mostly vintage, and was interested in doing the usual 1-4-1 swap; but I don't want to even try to list these books if there is no interest.  Hence, The idea was that if anyone was looking for a particular book, I could post it or do a "send to a friend" (although I'm not sure how that works).  That's why I was hoping for some helpful information .
