I wanted to like this book, but it just did not work for me. I didn't appreciate the fact that the author constantly inserted herself into the text. This would have been much more compelling if she had simply written about the colorful collection of characters there.

Great book about a community filled with psychics and mediums and tells the story of the town and some of the people behind it. I would definitely love to visit there. Sounds like a great place to visit or live. This is a MUST for the person who loves anything supernatural dealing with psychics & mediums.

I enjoyed this book very much, although I got the feeling the author was trying to create conflict (in her own mind). Ever read a story where the characters seem forced, and they do things that don't make sense? That's the impression I had about the author's experience in Lily Dale.

This book was a disappointment. It rambled on, never really delivering much. That said, it was still an interesting read and I would love to visit there!.
