I noticed most everyone has their books linked so the user can click on the title on see what the book is all about. How do I do that?? It probably is a no brainer, but I just can't figure it out this morning!
Thanks to anyone who can take the time to explain.
There are a few different ways to do it.
When you go to Amazon, Fantastic Fiction, or search for books on PBS, most of the time, there will already be a link to the book. Instead of clicking on the link, highlight it, right click, copy it and the paste it into your post.
If you are on the page of the book description itself, Copy the web address (URL) from the top of your browser and paste it into your reply...it will show up like this: http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780451411426-White+Heat
You can take that one step further if you want to and do this:
paste the URL into the reply box, then highlight the link. While it's highlighted, type in the name of the book WITHOUT SPACES, don't backspace either. Once you are done typing the title, then you can go back in and put in spaces or correct mistakes.
WhiteHeat (before correction)
When you are editing your signature or typing in a post, highlight the title of the book, click on the icon that looks like a chain. A small box will pop up where you can enter the website link and then click OK. Hope that helps.
