Sure, we all know that every book by Sophie Kinsella, Jennifer Weiner and Emily Giffin are adored on these boards.  What are 3 other recent reads you think us chic lit fans would enjoy.

1.   Elements of Style

2.  The Second Assistant

3. Ivy Chronicles

I'm still sorta new-ish to chicklit/henlit (I'm 40 so my tastes may be different!)

3 reads I'm enjoyed fairly recently in this genre are

Miss Invisible - this suprised me because though I'm Christian I usually don't like 'Christian' based fiction but this one I really enjoyed. a youngish woman deals with her weight issues and is done in both a serious and humorous way that I found great reading!

I'ts Never too Late to Get a Life - heather estay - this one was recommended here a while back and for a whileit was on my tbr shelf. I decided to give it a try and it was so silly/funny i laughed most of the way through it.

Suburban Secrets -donna birdsell - this is a harlequin Next title that I found funny and a very cute 'escape reading' story. Harlequin has a 'reputation' I think on this board as being 'just romance' and while I find some of their titles blah this one is good and is not sex oriented/romance. the whole story takes place over a weekend with several twists and turns for this size/type book. Actually several of the Next titles I've found very good reading: stevi mittman's 'live on long island can be murder' series is great; the maggie skerritt series is really good and an older lady is the 'star'(think douglas or douglass is the author of these) and an older 'bombshell' title by nancy bartholomew'sophie's last stand' was a great read too. I wish I could say this line is always good but unfortunately I can't and I know this is more than 3 but take the first 2 and the first out of this paragraph if I have to narrow it down because the 2 'series' Im entioned are really best read in order and not as a single read though I did read the 2nd maggie skerritt one first not realizing there was a series and really enjoyed it though ic ould tell I'd missed a previous story!

I have been reading a couple series recently that I have really enjoyed.  The type where you CAN'T WAIT for the next book in the series to come out:

Bubbles Series by Sarah Strohmeyer.  Reminds me of the Janet Evanovich and Joanne Fluke mysteries rolled in to one.  Hilarious!

Undead Series by MaryJanice Davidson.  Now I am not usually a sci-fi fan, but these are hilarious!  Love em, and they are really quick reads!

Here's 3 that I really enjoyed:

The Dim Sum of All Things by Kim Wong Keltner

Can You Keep a Secret by Sophie Kinsella

Any of the Nerd series by Vicki Lewis Thompson- don't know if they are condsidered chick lit, but they are funny and the women in them are strong and smart.  :)
