I'm pretty new to the swap, and so far love it!  I just finished the first 2 books I had received from other members, and am about to relist.  It seems it would be fun to keep a running list of members that have received & read the book, and tuck it in with the book, to stay with it on its journey.  Has this ever been discussed?  Is it something that can be done?  Does anyone else think this would be cool?

This is done automatically by the system.  If you pull up the book in your transaction archive and click on footprint, you can see the places that is has been before (and possibly) after you.  I have seen a book that passed through 3-4 hands before reaching me and has already gone on to 2-3 more PBS users since I had it.

You can't see real names, but you can see cities and miles that a book has travelled.

I always wondered what that little footprint meant, but never clicked on it.  I think that's a cool little extra.
