some mass market books have a different isbn on the back cover compared with the isbn inside the front cover. The one inside the front cover is the right one.

how did you acquire a book with the front cover missing?

Charles, the books at the beginning of the list have a ISBN inside the book but when I key that into PBS it takes me to a book that is not the one I have, although the number is the right one.  These books are old from back in the 1970's.

These books belong to my Mother and some were purchased from used book stores, some from garage sales, etc.  I am sure the ones without a front or back cover were bought from garage sales.  She could still read it but it is not one I could post here at PBS.

Willing to make a deal on multiples from the list above.

Plus, I have added more than 200 books to my bookshelf in the last week with more to come.

More books have been added.

I found a total of 10 John D. MacDonald books that are old and not postable.  Some have loose pages, loose bindings,  and tape on the binding, some stained, etc. and all with wear due to the extreme age.  Hubby got these from everywhere in order to read all of this author's work so a lot were not in good condition to begin with.  Can mail all 10 for 2 credits if anyone is interested.

If you don't have any takers, and you don't want to trash them, you can take them to a recycling facility. We have curbside recycling and drop off recycling trailers in some of our towns here.

People don't think about homeless, women's shelters, churches, or those type of organizations when they think of their books. I have a charity that picks up household etc items and when I have a book that won't be postable but is still in pretty good shape for reading, I donate them to this charity. Just a suggestion. If they are nonpostable, I didn't think you could get credits even if there are a bunch. The whole purpose of having unpostables is to give them away for free because they have no monetary value at PBS. If the powers that be get wind of it, they may tell you it is not something you are allowed to do. I think you can give them for free when someone orders postable books. I am not going to tell anyone! Just reminding you so you don't get in trouble.

Asking for credit for unpostable books is perfectly fine in the Book Bazaar. You cannot post them into the system, so when a deal is made the credits need to be transfered by the Give Credits button and the address PM'ed, but as long as you are not asking for more than the PBS rate and it is media (magazines, unpostable books, ARCs, etc, NOT apples laugh ) unpostables are find to be swapped in the Book Bazaar.
