Extremely teenage language, I could've done without the swearing...it just seemed to me like Dean was just playing stereotype that teenagers just think about sex 24/7 and that we all swear like sailors. Also, c'mon the restroom airplane scene...HELLO! Who is going to lose their virginity to someone they've only known for like and hour at most?! I didn't think it was realistically written. I gave it a one and a half b/c it does have a few interesting scenes in it...such as at the dance that DO show that awkward out of your element feeling that IS true to life. Eh, I don't highly recommend.

My daughter said that this book was as good if not better than the Gossip Girls series. It is much like the Gossip Girls, only it is set at the beach. This book is DEFINATELY for older teens....as in it has language, sex, drugs, alchohol...definately not for younger teens.

Cute, in a celebrity trash type of way. Easy read. I enjoyed it.

Good. But no where near as good as the Gossip Girl series. I was young when I read this one and looking back I would say the content was a bit to adult for young teens. (13,14). I tried reading the next book in the A-list series but it never caught my interest.

This is a really fun book! Iv read a lot of the teen series and this has to be my favorite. I recomend it to anyone who likes the gossip girls series. Except the ppl in this book arent as hard to relate to.
