"A superb mystery in the Great British tradition" An oldie I found on my shelf. Very enjoyable. Worth the time to read.

A good cozy mystery. Miss Silver is as good as Miss Marple.

I've found a new favorite detective. I'm going to look for other Miss Silver Mysteries. This was well written and an enjoyable read.

A new format for Miss Silver. This time she was introduced from the beginning of the story not in the last third. This is a good mystery that will keep you guessing until the end. Recommend.

I never get tired of Wentworth's "Miss Silvers" and her investigations. I'm getting to the end of this series, as there are four more left, which I have. I just wish her many other stand-alone novels were easier to obtain.

In this one, there are many suspects, and almost as many red herrings. And just when you think Wentworth has just tossed in some filler, you realize it was an important element to the plot.

Unfortunately, my copy has a large tear on the cover which makes it unpostable, so I can't share it here. But, as of today, there is another copy available.
