I just finished this book and it left me with the same feeling Helter Skelter left me with...amazed that young people thought killing was "fun". It was a sad, depressing story of the two teenage girls who were so bored one afternoon they decided to just go kill someone, steal a car and some money and run away to a new life, free from all their old problems or so they thought. Their lives definitely changed forever but not in the way they had expected. It was a slow going read in the court proceedings section of the book but overall it was interesting, at times disturbing and just made me think, why and how these atrocities came about, both to the girls and their victims.
