This is in the series of Little House books, this book is about Laura Ingalls Wilder's mother Caroline.

After the success of Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House books, some authors wrote similar books about Laura's Ma, grandmother, and great grandmother (as well as her daughter). This is the second book about Laura's Ma. They very much have the look and feel of Little House books and they appear to have at least some basis in fact.

Great condition... Caroline (Laura's Mom) series of Little House Books.

I do not like the abridged versions (that's what this copy is) of this series as much as I like the originals. The originals are not too wordy, and are just as interesting, if not more. Have not read this particular book in the series, but I can say this for the other books. And I cannot say for sure that I would rate this book 5 stars since I haven't read it, but others in the series have been 5 stars.
