The Little World of Don Camillo has been a favorite of mine since childhood and I was happy to revisit it as an adult. I find it a great place to escape to, Givoanni Guareshi had a deep understanding of human nature which is evident in the stories that while dated are as relevant now as they were when he wrote them. I always enjoy reading them, it is like visiting an old friend.
