One of those outstanding, one-of-a-kind picture books. Translated from the French, this book is an international effort - the internationally known author and illustrator is Swiss; the wonderful calligrapher is Chinese, living in France. The story captivates and provides lessons in family love. The illustrations are outstanding. And the history of Chinese calligraphy is engrossing.
