Captain Caution
This is a sister book to The Lively Lady covering the period of the War of 1812. Much is taken up with impressments of our sailors by the British and treatment of prisoners of war, particularly on the floating "hulks."

The Lively Lady
Don't read into the title of this book, you might be disenchanted. The "Lively Lady" is a merchant ship that is used as a privateer during the War of 1812. Early in the story the "Lively Lady" goes to her final resting place and the crew imprisoned at Dartmoor. Roberts, ever the historian, has some not too sweet words for some of our early founders cum presidents.
