Hundreds of delightful suggestions on how you can turn dull, irritating routine into life-enhancing rituals...add simple but distinctive touches to the ordinary to create the extraordinary...and make your home a lovely oasis of tranquility that will reduce stress, replesh the inner self, and celebrate the senses.

From creating private spaces for quiet moments to choosing color schemes that express your personality, decorating fireplaces, arranging mirrors to heighten illusions of light and space, indulging in surprisingly inexpensive luxuries, storing candles so they will burn longer, and much, much more.

An okay read, not the best of the living simply movement. Also seems to be geared towards people with money but all in all not a bad book. I would recommend Sarah Ban Breathnach books, they are wonderful.
