Has anyone read this book?  I love zombie stories and I see that Stephen King has one in this anthology of short stories along with Clive Barker and many others.  I hope that I get it this decade as I'm #111 on the WL.  I checked with Doubleday and Rhapsody Book Clubs and they don't have it!  I was just wondering if anyone has read it yet and can tell me if it is worth waiting for.

I've got the book and have read the first two stories. Both sucked.

I'll probably read the others with time but right now I guess it's going to sit on my shelf for some time.

What a bummer!!  I would still like to read it if you ever decide to let it go.

Considered how slowly those books go on PBS it's likely that when I've finished I'll remember to put it directly to your wishlist. I'm planning to read a few more stories during Christmas.

I LOVED the book. I think Sleepy will probably enjoy it better once she gets into the book a little further.

I just got that book.  It will be next on my growing list of books to read.

Rachel I love your icon!  Vampires absolutely do not sparkle.

So, anyone know how the rest of the Living Dead stories measure up?  I'm putting it on my TBR pile.

I couldnt get into it at all. Tried a few of the stories in it, they were just plain boring.

I've been picking away at it. I collect SK books and he has a short story in it so it's a keeper for me.I pull it out here and there and read a story or two.Im halfway through and Ive really liked a couple of the stories,a couple have been just "blech" and a couple are ok.But it is after all a huge anthology and it's bound to have the good the bad and the ugly in it:) And I know this is weird but I'm kind of put off by the "printing of the book." It's kind of small and the pages are long (compared to say other books) and sometimes I am just wanting a quick read.True-some of teh stories are only a couple of  pages long but still-seems much longer.
