  I am a large woman...
Taking up space...
Feeling obtrusive...
Desiring confidence...
Standing among the crowd...
Watching you....
Admiring your beauty....
Hiding from myself....

Been there. Not a great place to be. Gotta move on!

A poem about so much. ANYone can relate to this one. A large woman; or someone who feels she isn't "pretty enough"; or smart enough; we are seldom happy with the cards we have been dealt. So we deal with them or change the way the deck is stacked.

too bad bbw's( big beautiful women)have been made to feel this way. everyone should be admired for the beauty they bring to this world.perhaps if we can behold our own beauty others may see us that way too. really good writing.speaks volumes.

Excellent demonstration of how an overweight person truly feels inside. Leaves the reader thinking perhaps they should judge others less. Good work. Stop hiding...you have many gifts to teach us all. Thank you.

Wonderful poem! I used to feel this way, too, then one day I just woke up.
