The first Gable bio I ever read. It was written in the early 70's and so contains no information about his love-child with Loretta Young. Mr. Gable was a very private man - the author expresses the difficulties in locating source materials, but manages to paint an informative portrait of his life and career nonetheless. There's still plenty of 'dish' and well worth the read!
