Jason Lynx again faces murder - this time the victim is the brother of his fiancee, policewoman Grace Willis. There's lots of adventure, great characters and suspense.
Fifth in the Jason Lynx series. A new reader could start here, but I think it would be more interesting if you already know all the characters. The theme this time is spousal abuse; Tepper gets to pontificate a bit on that as well as the gay cruising lifestyle as it was in the 90s. Actually the lectures are fairly mild for Tepper, you get tapped on the head instead of hammered with it all. Everyone seems pretty believable except Edward. It's a little different storyline than the last few in that the victim(s) are not despicable people who 'deserved" killing; although Ron was not exactly a nice guy he was showing signs of redemption at the end. But the ending is more typical; Jason solves the puzzle but there's no "official" resolution.
