while i was getting ready for vacation last month, i had any books i ordered/were offered to me, sent to my mom.  she is also a member of PBS, but that is neither here nor there.

one of the books, a wishlisted book, has just been declared lost.  i've been to my mom's house half a dozen times since i've been home, and that particular book is NOT there.

my concern is that, when the book is re-offered to me, i'm going to request it and send it to my address since i am home now.

i'm just a little paranoid that it will look weird that i sent a book to a friend, and then it went lost so i reordered it for myself.

any thoughts?

I don't think anyone would look that closely. I can't imagine you are the only one who arranges for your books to go elsewhere in your absence...

No one is going to notice or care, IMO.

I suspect you would have to do MUCH wierder things A LOT  more often to even become "interesting" the PBS watchers :  )

What you describe sounds pretty normal :  )

Assuming the book wasn't "Pipe Bomb Making for Dummies" I don't see why it would look suspicious at all.

Too bad about the lost book, though :(

Can't really imagine that anyone would care! And who would know, anyway--no one else can see your ordering history except for the PBS team, and I'm sure they've seen MUCH weirder things than yours! :D

Jessyka--

If anyone does get suspicious, just blame it on the cat.  When he starts rolling around and looking all cutsey "pet my belly", they'll forget all about it :-)

Cheers,

Catt
