Greetings,

I do book reviews for children's books for a Pagan online free newsletter called "Pooka's Sandbox" (www.elsieandpooka.com) and I would love to hear some book recomendations for ages 4-12.  Also, if you are listing an kids book that would interest a pagan family, such as topics on religious literacy, environmental awareness, spirituality, teaching tolerance, etc, please tag it as such!

Thanks!

Liz

Are you interested in fiction or nonfiction book recommendations? I've got both.

Fiction author Jane Yolen is a favorite of mine.

Also, there's a wonderful illustrated children's book of affirmations entitled I Believe in Me.

We have an Eyewitness Book entitled Witches and Magic Makers, one of those fantastically-photographed Dorling-Kindersley books that young kids like.

For older children, The Science of Harry Potter by Roger Highfield is a non-fiction look at the magic behind J.K. Rowling's invented tales.  (We loved this one and keep it on the science shelf.)
