I'm looking for any book about The( Bloody) Benders they were a family that lived in Kansas in the 1800 or early 1900 and killed there guest by hitting them in the head with a hammer while they ate at the table , If you have a book about them that you would like to get rid of Please PM me no matter the condition of the book.!

I wrote a short Christmas themed play about The Bloody Benders a few years ago!  Such a fascinating story. 

The few books about them are out of print and tend to be very expensive.  The library might be your best bet.  The Rick Geary graphic true crime book is really well researched and in print, though.

I ordered that book on amamzon I can't believe the prices of the other two! I have a small pamplet type book about them(we lived close to bender mound and I went there alot when I was younger) but I was really interested in finding a book thanx for the info!

It's such an interesting story.  At one point I double checked the dates, and they were very near where the Ingalls family was in Kansas at the same time.
