Topic: Looking for certain type of historical books

Hi I am a huge Lisa Kleypas fan, but I am looking for books by other authors like her writing. I am looking for books in western, prarie settings sexy romance books! Just like kleypas, Linda Howard, Diana Palmer authors not afraid to describe subjects, scenes in detail! Does anyone have any suggestions! |

Beth Williamson and Sarah McCarty are 2 of my favorites. Oh and Pamela Clare - something like Ride the Fire is hot and good.

I just finished a book last night like that( I love those kind) it was by Joan Johnston. called ' Texas Bride . Or Stacey Kayne writes good historical . Somemore like you discribed (. I am looking for books in western, prarie settings sexy romance books! )))00)000000 Stacey Kayne My all time favorite is Another dawn by Sandra Brown, have you every read her historicals?

All the Maggie Osborne books are great. Funny and sexy. |

Catherine Anderson and Jodi Thomas write historical western romances. Some of Lorraine Heath's and Elizabeth Lowell's older books would fall in that category as well. I wouldn't say any of them were explicit, more like PG. |

So im interested in the book by linda lael miller high country bride! Has anyone else read it? what did u think of it, would u consider it a good historical read, steamy? Or what is your favorite linda lael miller steamy historical book! would like opinions, i have never read any of her books, and dont want to waist my time with a bad one. Also, All About Romance has title listings for different types of books like arranged marriages, tortured heros, friends etc and when you click on the title heading breaks it down into American Historical/Frontier Romances, contemp, etc. It doesn't give the steam ratings although there is one title listing called luscious love stories. I also second Sarah McCarthy and Beth Williamson very good books. Hope that made sense, I haven't had my caffiene yet.

I love Pamela Clare's McKinnon Rangers series, and her other historicals. Karen Kay Rebecca Hagan Lee Robin Lee Hatcher Kat Martin (Natchez Flame, etc. series) Lorraine Heath (English lords in TX) Shirl Heneke (Yankee Earl)

Any book by Linda Lael Miller is a winner for me. I like her writing and her characters. The women are never TSTL. |
