Years ago I had a cross stitch pattern leaflet that showed the stages that cotton goes through from the blossom to the full boll.  I have either misplaced or lost the pattern and now would like to make it for a dear friend.  Does anyone know where I could find a pattern like this?  I'll give you an extra book credit if you have it.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but you can put this one on your wish list...

The only other thing I found was a lot of booklets on ebay that included it...

Mary Ellen:

Thank you for your recommendations.  I have the Bill Hudson Living Southland and it does not have the progression stages.  it only has the magnolia blossom and the cotton at full boll.   I didn't get around to checking this site until after the e-bal listing had sold.  But it appears from the image that the Leisure Arts pattern is the one that I'm looking for.  This at least gives me a clue as it has the publisher and name to go by.  I'll use that as a wish list item on some of the cross stitch sites.  Thank you for your "eagle eye" and for sharing the information.
