I am determined to read as many as I can before I kick the bucket. Looking for some deals on these books.

Megan,

Can you post a link to the list you're going by?  I might have a few of them if I know what list you're going by :)

I have Their Eyes Were Watching God. I'll do a 2 for 1 with anything else on my shelf.

I can't get to the list (web-blocking software at work) but if I have any of the books you want I'll be happy to offer you a deal on them.

Wow!  What a list!. I just skimmed through it. And you have some real old books on there. I have already posted, Ivanhoe. I found a box of old books in my basement and I am going to start posting them. The only ones I posted so far are Ivanhoe and The Short Stories of O.Henry.

These are the ones not yet posted, but are ones on your list I found, I probably have more:

Gulliver's Travels,  Silas Marner,  Wuthering Heights, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (a thin book), but not what you have posted " The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".

If you are interested in any of these, PM me, as I am not sure when I will back on this thread. But I will check that list again. If interested  I will  have to post first. Since they have no ISBN, it is a little slow going.

Are you still interested in getting these? I have #485 - Pnin. It has underlining and notations in the margins (was a college book - did my thesis on Nabokov) which is why it isn't in my bookshelf. If you are interested, I could also throw in The Real Life of Sebastian Knight (not on the list but same author). It has a few notations and underlining. Or maybe trade for one of your unpostables. If you read nothing else by Nabokov, be sure to read Pale Fire. Pnin is the book that made me fall in love with Nabokov, but Pale Fire is the story that has stuck in my mind all these years. Anyway, if you have any interest, give a shout.

Amy,

Thanks! I d/l the spreadsheet and opened it in Excel (after having to d/l something else) but I can't do anything in Excel. I tried to open it in open office but don't seem to be having much luck with that. Have you tried that? Am I doing something wrong?

Do you know why there is a list of books that have been removed?

How about a 2 for 1 on these books... Walker, The Color Purple; Conrad, Nostromo. ...plus these unpostable but readable books as an added bonus! Jong, Fear of Flying (staining/water damage); Pynchon, Vineland (cut cover); Naipul, A Bend in the River (water damage). Please PM me if you're interested. Anna
