I am doing my Master's thesis about frugal living. I have a tendencey to over shop and will not be buying anything but the necessities all next year. I am looking for books that have to do with frugal living, living amongst the Amish, voluntary simplicity, not shopping, consumerism in America, penny pinching, the small house movement and the like for research to assist me in writing my thesis. I am also looking for books that deal with over-shopping to compliment these.
I thought it would be in the spirit of my experiment to ask if anyone would be willing to offer a deal on these sorts of books. Please PM me or post here if you have a deal to offer. In return, I would be willing to offer you a like deal on any books on my bookshelf and if you are interested in this project, will keep you updated (I am thinking about creating a website, but am a bit technologically challenged, so we'll see).

The Tightwad Gazette is one of the best books I've ever read on saving money and using things around the house creatively.
You may also want to look at books on overcoming Compulsive Hoarding.
Good luck on your thesis!
