I would like to decorate new baby's room with pages pulled out of children's books - so I'm looking for deals on unpostables of authors with great artwork that can be used in frames.   

I'm also looking to buy cheap credits.  I pm'd someone last night offering credits for $2.30, but haven't heard back.

When I go back to school this week, I will see if we have any of these books in the TITLE I room that are being thrown out due to loose pages, etc.  This is a great idea!

I know Kristy....I probably shouldn't have put that in my post...no one is going to want to give up their kid's books if they know I'm going to destroy them.    It hurts me to do it too, that's why I was hoping to find upostables that are already ruined :)    I already ordered 3 Bill Martin books from here, but they are hardcovers and I know I'm not going to be able to destroy them!   I think a trip to goodwill  is in order.

When on vacation this year, I saw someone who had taken books apart and made them into journals.  They had to use two books to get one journal but it was such a neat idea.  They used the page and glued lined paper on the back of each page.  Then they put them together with a spiral bound front and back cover.  Such a neat way to use books that are about to be trashed.
