I have a 14 year old niece who is starting to get into reading - she fell behind after she was hit by a car as a kid, and still struggles with reading.  I need some good YA suggestions and deals for her.  She generally likes books that are realistic and include kids about her age dealing with real problems.  She isn't too into historical books, though.  I know she wants to read A Wrinkle in Time, and likes the Island series (I have 1 and 3), so I am especially looking for deals on these books.  My credits are limited, so I don't promise to order from everyone who responds, but I do promise to see what you have to offer.  Thanks!!

She would probably love the Melody Carlson Series-True Colors, my 13 yo does.  If only I could get her to part with them after she reads them.  They are about real issues that teens are dealing with, i.e. divorcing parents, cutting, drinking, sex, jealousy, loneliness, peer pressure, etc.  I'll see if I can wrestle any of them away from my DD.
