The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffeneger is a good read.

Kd, You might want to ask this question in the Love and Romance discussion forum.   Those ladies are the experts.

But luckily, I happened upon your question here!   I love Cindy Miles books also.

One book you might like is Double Dating With the Dead Karen Kelly.   Unfortunately, it's wishlisted here on PBS.  But add yourself to the wishlist.  It's worth waiting for!

Have you read A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux?  It's a time-travel romance classic and in my personal list of top 10 books.  Out of 448 reviews on Amazon, 380 of those are 5 star reviews.  And most of the others are 4-star - there are very few below that.  That says something about how good this book is.

I'm also going to vote for Time Traveler's Wife. Great story! I've read A Knight in Shining Armor too and really like it. It's on my Bookshelf right now, in case anyone is looking for a copy.

I absolutely loved A Knight in Shining Armor, and I'm not much of a romance reader. I wish I could find another book that good and that memorable.

How about Diana Gabaldon's series "The Outlander".   Great time travel and romantic history.

It's lacking true supernatural elements, but your topic calls for romance+magic, so I'll suggest Lindsay Clarke's THE CHYMICAL WEDDING which is one of my all-time favorite novels.

Sandy Blair has 3 books  - A Man in a Kilt(ghost then permanent time travel), A Rogue in a Kilt (fey healer), A Thief in a Kilt - fey who can see future. there probably aren't what you're really looking for. I found them to be cute/funny/very light romance. I enjoyed them though but not as a 'serious' read if that makes sense. The character in each book is introduced in the previous book and the last book has the couple from the 1st book in it briefly though not 'featured'.

I am new to this site, but if your looking for a great read that is romance and magic related, try the Tarien Soul  series.   I must warn you though, that the series is not completed yet!   I am waiting breathlessly myself for the end of the story!

Constance O'Day Flannery has an older series of time travel romances out.  It starts with Timeless Passion, and was the first time travel I ever read, around age 16 or so. I still have it and read it once in a while. It's a wonderful storyline and her characters are terrific. There are 5 or 6 in that style of series she's written.

Subject: you want vamps, shifters and romance, gotta try these two authors

Christine Feehan is good - the dark series books, but for time travel and all that you've got to check out Sherrilyn Keyon's Dark Hunter series.  I really enjoyed them all.  I'm sad to be finished.   good luck

I highly recommend both Diana Gabaldon's Outlander Series and also Anne Rice's Vampire Series. But here's a few others that I've really enjoyed.

Cherry Adair - Edge of Fear, Edge of Darkness andEdge of Danger

Heather Graham - Ghost Walk

Nora Roberts - Sign of Seven Series and Circle Trilogy

Linda Howard - Son of the Morning

I have the following time travel romance on my shelf:

An Echo in Time (Time Passages Romance Series) :: Sherry Lewis

This series sounds like something you might be interested in.  I think I have a few others on my shelf as well.

'Garden Spells' by Sarah Allen was great - she has another 'The Sugar Queen' which was just as good.

I just remembered Time and Again by Jack Finney, I read it a long time ago, but I remember that it was a good read.

Midwest Book Review
Blend mystery and science fiction with a romance which travels through time and you have a haunting story of a man transported back in time to fall in love with a beautiful woman of yesteryear.

I didn't realize that there is a sequel..I'll have to add From Time to Time to my TBR list..

This looks interesting:The Best Time Travel Stories of the 20th Century

There's a time travel series I really enjoyed written by Allen Appel - there are four books in the serier - Time After Time, Twice Upon a Time, Till the End of Time and In Time of War.  The last one ended in a way that might suggest future books in the series.

Have you read any Laurell K. Hamilton the Anita Blake series?  You have all 3, vamps, shifters, and demons.  There are 16 books in the series.

Also Lori Handeland has romance, and shifters.

I saw that you have one of Linda Winstead Jones books, Prince of Fire.  Have you read the other two books before this one?  Or the three about their mothers?
