I'm looking for multiples (can use up to 8 of each title) of these for my daughter's 5th grade classroom.  ISBNs do not have to match exactly.  Paperbacks are welcome, of course, but if you have a nice hardcover copy, they do last longer in a classroom setting.  All of these titles are available in the system.  I'd love a deal!  Please PM me if needed for offers!

A Long Way From Chicago by Richard Peck

A Year Down Yonder by Richard Peck   Have enough of this one now, thanks!

Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers

The Watsons Go to Birmingham - 1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis  Have enough of this one now, thanks!

Shoeshine Girl by Clyde Robert Bulla, Jim Burke (Illustrator)

The Black Pearl by Scott O'Dell

The BFG by Roald Dahl

The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin  Have enough of this one now, thanks!

Schooled by Gordon Korman   Have enough of this one now, thanks!

Do you have any local bookstores (preferably an independently owned one)? You might be able to talk to them and get some sort of deal.

Thanks so much, guys!  Just so you know, I'm sending you individual PMs as each one arrives so you can mark them received.  I've gotten 3 of Whitney's so far, and 2 of Karen's.  I've not yet gotten the HC Shoeshine Girl yet.

Sassy, yes, Winston did order 3 books for me and I've received them all.

I've spent 48 of my own credits on this, so I appreciate the help!

I've been sending PMs to people as each of these books come in, so in case anyone is wondering, I'm not ignoring!  I'm sure these wonderful people would not put up with that, anyway, LOL!

Just updated the top post as I got another copy of A Year Down Yonder from Whitney to complete the set.  Thanks so much!
