Hi everyone....I am having a bit of a dilemma and thought you all might be able to help.

My boys are involved in a Bible Bowl (locally) and are trying to learn their chapters.  One of the best way we have found for them is to listen to the chapters on CD or on my iPhone.  Last year, we found a Podcast (called "Hearing by Faith") that provided each of the chapters of the New Testament as a separate file.  I accessed that podcast on one computer and burned them a CD of the chapters they needed.  Oh, and the requirement from the people who are doing the BB is that the version has to be NKJV.

Well, this year they are doing James, 1 & 2 Peter, and Ruth over the course of the year.  Here is my dilemma:

1)  I cannot, for some reason, access that podcast any longer on one computer.  I don't know if it's no longer being broadcast or what.  I loaded up the laptop (where the podcast was from last year) and was still able to download the chapters from the NT that we needed.  I burned those to a CD so they could listen to it in their room (while they clean...double bonus!!) and also ripped it to my main computer, where I sync my phone...so that I can put the chapters on my phone so they can listen as we drive (our CD player in the van is broken).  However, when I look in iTunes at the podcasts, this particular podcast doesn't appear at all anymore.  The NKJV is no longer available on any of their podcasts OR on their website.

2) I can't find the OT anywhere in NKJV audio.  Well, I can...but it will cost me about $30-$80 to get the discs.  And I can't afford that.  LOL

3) One of the versions I found on iTunes is the whole Bible for $10...but the reviews for it say that it is organized very poorly.  They said it is broken up into 14 sections, with no way to only select a certain chapter or passage to be listened to.  I need to be able to pick specific chapters to hear.

4) Some of the ones I've seen (that are still too expensive) are DVD's or "play-type" of setting...with multiple characters/voices.  I just need it read...plain and simple.

So, what I'm looking for is information any of you might have to offer.  I am wondering if you know of a cheap option of the NKJV of the *whole* Bible that is divided into chapters.  I don't mind paying a bit of money for this, becaues this seems to be the version that is preferred for Bible Bowl...so we will be using it  for a few years.  However, I can't afford to go more than about $20 for it.  LOL  (And really....it's an audio version...how hard can it be??)

IF you have any suggestions or ideas, I would love to hear them.  I would also just record it myself into an audio format and let them listen to that, but I have no idea how to go about doing that.

Hopefully someone here could help me!
