each year my son brings home 5 to 6 workbooks from science math and reading. most are unused. i hate to throw them out and i was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to donate. i know there has to be places all over the world that would love to get workbooks like these, any suggestions???? I think I still have his first and second grade workbooks too...

Just as a suggestion - I would like to think that any shelter that dealt with families would be glad to take them - kids having to stay in shelters for days/weeks/months would have a need for them. Try your local shelters or food pantries for help.

You might also try posting in the Discussion Forum - Homeschoolers' Corner. I'm sure a few members could get some mileage from your offerings.
