I love reading western romances (whether they are set in the 1800's or contemporary).  Any suggestions?

I have already read most books by the following authors:  Janet Dailey, Joan Johnston, Linda Lael Miller, Catherine Anderson, & I don't really care for Dorothy Garlock.

Thanks!!

The only one coming to mind at the moment is Irish Devil by Diane Whiteside.  It's pretty steamy and takes place in frontier Arizona.

ETA - I would also suggest using the search at likesbooks.com .  You can pick genre and sensuality rating, plus you can check out how the site graded each book.  I've found it to be an invaluable tool!

Elizabeth Lowell's "Only" Series is great.  And Reckless Love is an historical western, but not part of the series.  She also wrote a contemporary western series - Fire and Rain, Outlaw, Granite Man and Warrior.

I enjoy Jill Gregory's historical westerns.

Angel Creek by Linda Howard (also another book that comes before that one, but I haven't read it yet - Lady of the West)

The Touch of Fire by Linda Howard

One Real Cowboy by Jeanette Kenny

The Rainbow Season and The Rainbow Promise by Lisa Gregory (aka Candace Camp)

I also like some of Linda Winstead's historical westerns.

RAIN LILY by Candace Camp is one of my favorites and any western by Lorraine Heath especially THE TEXAS TRILOGY  books.

I've read all of theones Angie mentioned by Elizabeth Lowell - I liked them all.  Another author you might want to check out is Jodi Thomas.  Her books are usually set in Texas - many historicals, but she has started writing some contemporary recently.
