Can anyone recommend authors of historical romances similiar to Julia Quinn & Lisa Kleypas?

Thanks!

I recommend Suzanne Enoch (avoid Sins of a Duke), Laura Lee Guhrke (avoid She's No Princess), Elizabeth Hoyt, and Sabrina Jeffries (she's good all across the board, IMO), to name a few.

I believe, Kat Martin and Galen Foley are similar, I have not read any Quinn but read most of Kleypas's.

I think Jillian Hunter's Boscastle series could be comparable to Quinn. And I second Gaelen Foley.

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I haven't read any of the authors that were mentioned except for Elizabeth Hoyt, who I thought was really good, too. I'll definitely have to order some of those authors' books that were mentioned.

Mary Balogh's Bedwyn series is also noteworthy.

What about Julia London, Wicked Angel.  As for Quinn... hmm Loretta Chase, Lord of the Scoundrels?

Actually, I'm going to agree with Misty here and say Galen Foley would be most similar to Kleypas.

Karen Hawkins could be considered similar to quinn, I especially liked Her Master and Commander Author: Karen Hawkins & Her Officer and Gentleman Author: Karen Hawkins, they go together. Also The Duchess Diaries :: Mia Ryan is pretty cute, like JQ books can be.

As for like Kleypas, I can't seem to think of any that haven't already been mentioned.

Jo Beverley maybe.  And there have been a few times when I've been reading a Kleypas, and had to look to make sure it wasn't a Laurens:P  Liz Carlyle, and second on Karen Hawkins, Galen Foley, and Jillian Hunter.  Possibly Victoria Alexander too.  Not exactly the same, but sorta similar to Kleypas.  I'm sure I'll think of more later.
