I have read quite a few young adult paranormal books and would like to start reading adult paranormal.  I've read one of Amanda Ashley's and really loved it.  I like to read about all of the supernatural beings,  vampires, ghosts, wolves, wizards, etc.  I want to avoid any erotic books.   Thanks.

I agree with Jenny.  Both those authors are great.  Also, try Kelley Armstrong.

Try Carrie Vaughns Kitty Norville books. I also recommend Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series(they have a good mix of supernatural characters)

Jennifer Estep has a nice paranormal series (Elemental Assassin) and is also starting a young adult series (Kiss of Frost).  Cassandra Clare has a steampunk series that is pretty entertaining.  Stacey Kade has a cute young adult series also.  I also thought the Gail Dayton series was entertaining.

Keri Arthur is similiar to Kim Harrison, Kelley Armstrong, and Patricia Briggs-all of whom I love. You might also like Marjorie M. Liu. She has two seires, one a para detective series, and another, the Hunter Kiss series, which I love, love! The "boys" are a trip!

Two of my favorite authors are Karen Chance (Cassie Palmer series) and Jeaniene Frost (Night Huntress series). Both were the first authors I read that got me into the paranormal/urban fantasy genre. Love them :) Very few sex scenes and a lot of kick-a$$ action. The first few books in each series are very good. Ditto on Patricia Birggs...

Im with Leslie on Karen Chance and Jeanine Frost, I might also recommend, Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock Series as well as Lara Adrian,  and Karen Marie Moning's Fever series,  Also Jacquelyn Frank, Christine Feehan,  and JR Ward are all great series. Good luck finding something.
