Hello all-

I am failry new to paperack swap, but have been reading as long as I can remember.  My favorite authors are James Patterson (especially the Alex Cross and WMC series), Janet Evanovich, John Sandford (Prey Series), Patricia Cornwell, J.D. Robb, and Catherine Coulter.  While I do have several books on my TBR list and even more at home that I haven't entered into my TBR list yet, I am always trying to keep my eye out for new books or series to read.

Just thought that I would throw a post out there asking people that enjoy the authors, books above, to give me suggestions on who else I should try and get to read.

I would recommend Elizabeth George's "Inspector Lynley" series and C. J. Box's "Joe Pickett" series.  There are dozens of others but I'd start with these.

Have you tried the Grisham books?  he's gotten a bit off track lately but they are always a decent read.  I did like Playing for Pizza but then i like football.  Also Greg Iles and Christopher Reichs are excellent.  Reich's The Runner had a twist at the end that floored me....and I have been reading this genre for 40 years.

Gerald, isn't it fun to be surprised by a plot line?!  Especially after 40 years!

A friend of mine just had his first book published.  Bringing Back the Dead by Joe Domenici.  REALLY good thriller!  Some military overtones, but the majority of the book takes place after the characters have gotten ot of the military.  This isn't just a "guys" book.  I loved it and personally know of 8 other women who really enjoyed it as well.
