Only 3 of the Arcane series are under Amanda Quick, the rest were contemporaries under her real name, Jayne Ann Krentz. Arcane now covers all three of her pen names--historical (Quick), contemporary (Krentz), and futuristic (Castle). They are all linked together. The Sweetwater family is in Obsidian Prey. :) I really liked that one. It was a great read. Love the dustbunnies.
There are a lot more historicals under the name Amanda Quick, so you might look for those. I am pretty sure most of those are not paranormal. Julia Quinn writes historicals that are a lot of fun, but I don't think they have any paranormal stuff. I don't read many historicals that aren't westerns, but I like those. The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie by Jennifer Ashley was good, too, but also not paranormal.
If you like western historicals, you might like the time travel one My Heart Will Find Yours by Linda LaRoque. I read that over the weekend and it was fabulous. I guess it is part of a trilogy. The next one comes out next month, I think. Elizabeth Lowell also wrote a bunch of good western historicals, but they do not have any paranormal stuff.
