This is the second part of The Lord of the Rings. These books are about the imaginary world of Middle-earth. The hobbits, a peace-loving people live there. People of all ages enjoy these classic myths.

It's so hard to know what to say about a classic, especially one that is so familiar to you. I first read the trilogy in high school, almost 45 years ago, and I still have the same 3 books I read then. They are battered and worn now from many re-readings. As many times as I have read them I still find something new to think about.

This is part 2 of the triogy.

In this book, Mr. Tolkien continues the great romance which he began with the fellowship of the ring. Prophecy is a dangerous business, but i should not be surprised if we turned out to have a new classic on our hands.... If you know a great book when you see one, you will want all of these

These books are definately a must-read for any bookworms (even non-bookworms would love it). Tolkien has a way or painting a picture in your mind; it's obvious that middle-earth was as real to him as our world. LOTR became real to me, with a perfect mix of tragedy, adventure, comedy and romance that will keep a reader's attention. The Two Towers is awesome!! I read our copy to the point that the covers fell off!!

Being a top-seller next to the Bible, this book is amazing! The Lord of the Rings is a must-read for everyone. J. R. R. Tolkien is such a talanted writer.

This is a great book! The Frodo/Sam/Gollum part can be a bit hard to get through, so since this book is divided into two "books" I switch between them every other chapter for some variety. It works really well! Tolkien was a genius!

This is a very exciting book. It made it up to my very favorite books. Also, if you get stuck, don't think it is boring. Keep going! The next chapter might have lots of excitement in it. This book is one of those great books that have no bad language. Another plus. It is pretty long. But you can always put it off every now and then.
