Cindy Preston is a church secretary. She finds a body when she opens the church. The Rabbi from the temple next door hears her scream, and their lives are never the same. The murders begin to escalate, as it appears the killer is re-enacting scenes from Easter week, such as Palm Sunday, Jesus driving out the money changers, and the events continue.
Christian? I guess. No bible verses ever mentioned. Religious? More in the sense that you learn some nice info about the Jewish Seder and cleaning the house before Seder. I would also dare to say you learn something about Easter week, if you didnt know some of those things already. I felt it was more a delving into some of the Jewish traditions, which made it interesting.
The body count was what really concerned me. WOW! It started to push the limits of believable.
This book is fast and short, you wont find some whitty fast dialogue, or any risque words or scenes. You will find a good story and mystery. guess what? it wont be a red herring.
